The aim of this assessment is to identify and justify a wicked problem in a ‘real-world’ context that requires development of a different leadership approach in 2,000 words. You will apply (Praxis) leadership theory to practice to develop a leadership approach appropriate to remediate the problem.
Instructions:Critically reflect upon your current (or a known) context and identify a difficult ‘social or business issue’ that needs to be resolved within that context. Applying understandings drawn from readings, resources, lived personal experiences and observations, draw out understandings of the ‘wicked’ problem within this context, and identify the competing values and potential leadership implications. Write an essay describing the wicked problem and its context and justify why you have chosen this issue as a ‘wicked’ problem.
